First, I want to address the cycling news article that came about last month..the one with STrickland whining about how crushed he's going to be if Lance is found to be guilty, and the full page spread of the top ten allegations. REALLY? CyclingNews you disappoint me. I am trying to see the latter article as a sort of filling in the ignorant of what's going on, so they can have an opinion, too. But the only opinion YOU care about, is selling more magazines, bec let's face it, scandall sells. You post articles about how guilty you think he's going to be, which again, was QUITE disappointing (oh and the idiots who also followed up "wow they MUST know something, or why else would they risk damaging the Armstrong Foundation relationship?" Instead, why not just IGNORE it, save for maybe an editorial biline stating nothing mroe than there is an allegation/investigation, and we'll print the results when they come out, but to DROP to the level of a common gossip rag just lowered my whole point of view of you. You're a FAIL and i don't care now how well you post the results and the REAL news. I'll find it in a more relable, tabloid-less mag.
Now, I want to address CyclingWeekly's tweet about Hincapie. This is the tweet :
cyclingweekly Cycling Weekly
George Hincapie the latest to tell of Armstrong's doping - http://bit.ly/knvB20"
So i went to the article. NOTHING in it stated what Hincapie said. NOTHING. It was just more gossip rag jargon about the investigation.
For those of you already w/ an dissenting opinion of lance, nothing i say is going to change that. So, be off with you. If you are easily swayed by the press, then you deserve all the stupid stuff you read to fill your head, and go be a cow somewhere else. You don't even deserve to read my blog.
"oh but Landis and Hamilton said..." Lets take stock. Both those guys, were busted. They've got NOTHING TO lose! As soon as they were busted, the Armstrong Camp distanced themselves from them, just like ANY cycling business would. No one, who was in the Team Radioshack Camp Rider, that was never busted for drugs, has stated, "I didn't do them, but Lance did". Why? Bec they got paid A LOT of money by helping lance win the TDF. And they are still on good terms with Armstrong. Why? Bec Lance is a money maker, and always seems to have something in his future sleeve for a nice capital venture, and lucky you you get to ride the Armstrong Train.
Hincapie CAN'T, by law, talk about the investigation. NONE of them can. They would be found in contempt. So, when you see headlines like that crap above, it's tabloid nonsense..and a Curse on the magazine that sinks that low. FAIL Again!
So, the media blabs about how awful doping is, but they can't WAIT to throw anyone under the bus to sell rags.
So, Cycling News and Cycling Weekly, you're a bunch of wusses who are desperate, and it shows and shame, shame, SHAME on you.
Shame also on Landis and Hamilton. You got busted, and your threw your friend under the bus. Why couldn't you just take it, like Millar did, and say "yes i did it, regardless of the pressure or whatever, I f'ed up,i'll take my licks, and hope someday, i can race again". Hell, I've got alot of respect for Millar..he's still in the game, kicking ass.
As for Armstrong, whether you did or not, that's for your own concious to deal with. It's time all these pussies (sorry parents) stopped whining and took care of their own camp. I"M done w/ it.
Great, now i gotta go vacuum my house. Grow up.
